Have you recently had a review with your insurance agent pertaining to auto and home coverage? As the summer winds down and the kids prepare to go to school, there could be risks that are not properly covered.

If you have a child who is old enough to start driving, have you talked to your insurance agent about adding another driver, specifically a “youth” driver? After our Arizona monsoon season is coming to a close, have you had your roof inspected lately to see if you need normal repairs or a complete replacement? These are just some of the things to think about as the fall season approaches.

A good rule of thumb is to get an informal insurance review once a year at minimum to make sure you have the proper coverages on both your cars and home. As mentioned in my previous posts, it is the moment of making a claim when you find out that you are not covered for a loss that you assumed was covered.

A great insurance agent is your trusted advisor, making sure that you find no “surprises” of no coverage when you thought there was. You get peace of mind with knowing you are covered for anything and everything that could possibly happen.

And, believe it or not, to add some extra coverages on your car and home is a very small price to pay for the protection you receive.
